About this print

Maren climbed to a hut the night before and made this at 6:12 in the morning, the moment the sun reached the highest peaks and nothing else.

Most of the picture is close to black. On baryta paper the shadows keep detail and the lit snow has a faint warmth that a matte paper flattens.

Certificate of authenticity

Each print is sent with a certificate of authenticity on cotton card, signed by the artist and by the printer. It repeats the title, the edition number, the size, the paper and the date of printing, and the same number is written in pencil on the back of the print. Keep it with the print: we can replace a lost certificate once, from our edition ledger.
